Real-Time Fraud Scoring

Real-time fraud scoring returns a risk score and recommendation during a decision point so a team can act before the flow completes instead of reviewing it afterward.

How it works in practice

Fraud Intercept supports four event types: registration, login, deposit, and withdrawal. A call can return a risk score, an allow/review/block recommendation, and linked Known Threat evidence when present.

Teams decide where these checks fit in their own workflows, while other commerce or billing lifecycle events remain outside the current scoring scope.

Why it matters for fraud prevention

Decision-time evidence helps teams intervene before a risky flow completes. It shifts response earlier, when action is still possible.

Real-time scoring is a core capability across every Fraud Intercept tier; tier-level event limits live on the pricing page, including the Free-tier monthly API allowance available without a credit card.
